Reporting – Markbook Audit Trail

Welcome to our Markbook Audit Trail – your go-to tool for transparently tracking and managing changes to your assessment data.  This guide will walk you through the various aspects the Audit Trail logs, how to access it, and how to interpret the information presented in the table format. 

What Can You Track with the Markbook Audit Trail? 

  • Activities
    • Monitoring Changes to Activity Titles, Descriptions, and Totals.
  • Aggregate Results
    • Logs for Deleted, Added, and Unlinked Subject Results in aggregate Rules.
    • Keep track of changes made to subject results within existing aggregate rules. 
  • Promotion Rules
    • Logs for Deleted, Added, and Unlinked Subject Results in Promotion Rules.
    • Logs for deleted, added, and unlinked subject results to an existing promotion rule.  
    • Changes to settings such as allowing results to be used in subsequent rules and pass rules anyway. 
  • Pass Type Rules
    • Logs for Deleted, Added, and Unlinked Subject Results in Pass types rules.
    • Logs for deleted, added, and unlinked subject results to an existing pass type rule.  
    • Track changes related to subject results within pass type rules. 
    • Stay informed about modifications in settings such as allowing results to be used in subsequent rules, pass rule anyway, and rounding. 

Other Changes:

  • Deleted, Added, and Unlinked Results: 
    • Follow changes made to individual results within the Markbook. 
  • Rounding Settings: 
    • Monitor adjustments to rounding settings for accurate grade calculations. 
  • Attaching and Unlinking Child Results: 
    • Track changes in attaching and unlinking child results. 
  • Archiving and Unarchiving Results: 
    • Keep an eye on results that are archived or unarchived. 
  • Locking and Unlocking Results: 
    • Monitor changes in locking and unlocking individual results. 
  • Hiding or Unhiding Results: 
    • Track changes to visibility in the markbook and subject schedules. 
  • Cloning Results: 
    • Stay informed about the creation of result clones. 
  • Changes to Tags, Result Totals, Mark Type, and Calculation Type: 
    • Keep track of any modifications to tags, result totals, mark types, and calculation types. 

How to access Markbook Audi Trail?

  • Navigate to the Assessment Module
  • Select your Grade
  • Choose the Markbook for the specific subject. 
  • Click on the ‘Audit Trail‘ button located in the top right section of the markbook.
